On this page are a few of the photographs that we have taken during the restoration of our 1978 VW Convertible.  This is still a work in progress, and probably will be for sometime.

This was our first project, and it was a doozie.  We learned a lot about what to look for when looking for a project car, and when to know that a vehicle is too far gone to repair.

About 30% of the lower metal had to be replaced, and although we have seen and heard worse case scenarios, they are usually from professional restorers who know tjeir capabilites!

Afer numerous comments of "oh my, look at that" andphone calls from the repair shop that started off with "you need to come look at something" restoration got underway!

The Embug has come a long way since we got her, but still has a ways to go.  She actually won a best of show her first time out ( I still say it was because we parked in front of the burger tent!)

It was a great boost to us for all our hard work and time, and completely unexpected. If you see the Embug at the shows, stop on by to say Hi!
